Songs in the night.

I have been singing my heart out today.
Sort of "quietly" when hubby is in hearing distance.
I sing my heart out and the Lord smiles........others tend to cringe, hehe
I cannot carry a tune.
When I worked, I loved the 30 minute drive to and from work.
Would have the a/c on, windows up and I sang!
I love Jesus Christ!
This is the week leading to Easter!
I am filled with such JOY, such LOVE, such GRATITUDE for HIM.......
I sing for I cannot be silent..........
This song, "Redeemed" came to mind as I sang it most of my life while attending
a Methodist church just west of the city limits of Albany, NY.
I sang those words......but never knew HIM from the heart out.
Praise the Lord, for the last  27 years (will be 27 this summer)
He has not only been Savior, but LORD in my life.
I know I shall see in His beauty,
The King in whose way I delight.
Who lovingly guardeth my footsteps,
and giveth me songs in the night!
Thank you Fanny Crosby for writing this beautiful song of redemption long ago.

  1. Love that HEART flower. Gorgeous.... Guess what? When I was working in Texas, I had a 30 minute drive to and from work. I would spend that time in devotion each day ---and it was fabulous!!! It was just MY time with myself ---dealing with life and love and feelings---whatever!!!!! It was truly a God-moment in my life....

SO---we have something else in common.

    Happy Holy Week... God Bless.
